The Position
As a Key Account Manager in Primary Care, you will be the GP´s go-to person when it comes to diabetes. You’ll set the rules and the pace in your own district with the aim of ensuring access to our innovative GLP-1 portfolio among all relevant Healthcare providers (mainly GP’s and Primary Care Unit Managers but also Nurses) across the region that covers the northern part of Västa Götaland and Värmland.
On the field each day is never the same and it is only you who sets the limits on what to achieve in the daily work, while interacting with Health care professionals to challenge old patterns, improve diabetes knowledge and engage to change patients’ lives.
In collaboration with the Regional Sales Manager, you will lead the work towards strategic business planning, building the market and identifying new business opportunities in your region where innovative thinking can get you far and beyond territory sales targets. To some extent you will work cross-functionally with other Field Force functions such as the Medical Advisors and Regional Market Access. You will be responsible for sharing local better practices with your team so that everyone benefits from learnings across the market when building it. You will also be responsible for segmenting in order to maximize and unlock new business opportunities to drive the business – it is where you’ll have a chance to take advantage of your innovative, positive, and winning approach
All in all, you will:
- Have an ongoing interaction with customers (GPs and nurses, Primary care Unit Manager and other relevant stakeholders) in Primary
- Care Units in order to improve the outcome of the diabetes treatment
- Create and follow up on account plans to grow business incl. coordinating with other roles and functions Increase diabetes knowledge in the district
- Build lecturers and GP ambassadors/influencers to activate GP segment
- Drive Multi-channel engagement activities
Qualifications
Our ideal candidate has a genuinely patient-centred, highly ethical, and ambitious self-starter approach to work and confidence in engaging with customers both in field and remotely. Furthermore:
- You are a first mover who loves innovation and bring new solutions
- You hold a bachelor’s degree as well as a LIF certification
- You are fluent speaker of English and Swedish
- You have got strong communication and interacting skills which allow you to collaborate with colleagues and Health Care Professionals (HCP) at the Primary Care Unit with ease
Experience in key account management and the therapeutic area would be considered an asset
About the Department
